Welcome to Radio Review

As you can see, I have now added this extra Introductory page to enable me to add all those last minute messages that don't, necessarily belong on any other page and which you might miss altogether, if they were tucked away somewhere else! To access the rest of the pages in this site, simply click on the button "WELCOME" at the bottom of this page.

THE WRECK OF THE MI AMIGO - COAST BBC2 -

WEDNESDAY THE 1ST SEPTEMBER 2010

We understand that the wreck of the Mi Amigo will be visited as part of the last episode of the current series of the programme Coast on BBC 2 at 8pm this coming Wednesday the 1st September with former Radio Caroline DJ Tom Anderson featured in the programme. This item is not mentioned in the official preview of the programme although the episode is concentrating on the east coast from Hull to London and it also features the retoring of old fishing boats in the Thames Estuary.

I presume this programme will be available on the BBC iplayer afterwards if you miss it but, if you live outside the UK I don't think you will be able to access it.

VIDEOS AND TECHNICAL PROBLEMS!!!

I have been trying to upload various offshore radio related videos for you to look at over the August Bank holiday weekend but, unfortunatley, technical problems have defeated me! I will keep trying!

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MY EBAY AUCTIONS

I am, currently, listing items for auction on Ebay, including various pirate radio-related publications and other items and some non-radio books as well. All auctions start at just 99p. If you are interested in seeing what's on offer, just go to the Ebay website and type "CAROLINE 25TH BIRTHDAY SOUVENIR" in the search engine. This will take you to one of the publications on offer and to see the rest of the items, just click on "other items for sale" to the right of the screen.

UPDATE - WEDNESDAY THE 11TH AUGUST 2010

Issue 199 was supposed to be published at the beginning of August. However, this schedule is running two weeks late, mainly because there was so much last minute editing, revising and rewriting of articles to do. This was partly because I kept unearthing more info. relating to the Southend story. I can't explain how much is involved in checking the final copy and printing it! I was also distracted last weekend by a trip up north to see the first game of the new football season between Dagenham & Redbridge and Sheffield Wednesday in front of 23,000 people!

Anyway, it has now been printed and I'm hoping to get some issues in the post before the week's out. However, it may be next week before many subscribers receive their copy.
